Day 8-A place you've traveled to
I haven't traveled very much. Pretty much i've just stayed in California, & now Utah. I like to stick at home. When I have the chance to travel, I would rather just stay home, relax, have some fun, and read a lot.
One vacation that I always will remember is when i was young... probably about 8. My mom and I took the train to Santa Barbara. All I remember about that trip is that I had so much fun and I got my first beanie baby. His name is Bruno, the dog. Yes, I do still have him.
This summer, I will be taking a very exciting vacation. I am going to India! With a program, Rising Star Outreach. I will be there on a leprosy colony helping out. I am so excited to be able to go. However, I have lots of things to do before then! I have to get lots of shots (yippee!) and finish raising money, find my flights and more!
However, I WILL be blogging about my experience here on this blog. I am excited to be able to take pictures, be there, and be involved with something that is different than I have ever been around before. What an opportunity to serve others. I am just so darn excited! What an adventure it will be to share what I have with those who have less. I can't even express my enthusiasm and happiness for this! Yay!
Ooooh beanie babies. :) hahaha
ReplyDeleteBring me something back from India! hehe I can't wait to hear all about your trip!!!
I remember your trip to Santa Barbara. It is so cool that you remember.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for your India trip as well. You ought to talk to the Wilson's - I think they have a child about of age to go.
Hahaha, yes Jenessa I collected them after that! Totally have a big box of them at home that I will NOT let my mother get rid of. Presh.
ReplyDeleteYeah, one of the few younger vacations that I remember! Wilson's...like Nate's parent? Who... Emily?
